Riga 1: − Secret Notes are collectible notes that can be unlocked by walking to the [[Bus Stop]] from [[The Farm]] during [[Winter]] between 6am and 4pm. The player will see a cutscene in which a "Shadow Guy" (who is most likely [[Krobus]]) startles and runs away. After seeing the cutscene, the quest [[Quests#A Winter Mystery|"A Winter Mystery"]] is added to the player's journal. − The Shadow Guy's footsteps lead to a bush next to the playground, left of the [[Community Center]]. If the player interacts with the bush, the Shadow Guy will pop out of it, apologize for stealing, give the player a [[Magnifying Glass]], then run away. The Magnifying Glass gives the player the ability to find Secret Notes while digging, chopping trees, mining, fishing, or killing monsters. + + + + + + − Once found, a Secret Note can be read by selecting it in the top row of inventory and right-clicking (as if consuming food). I messaggi segreti si possono sbloccare camminando alla [[fermata del bus]] dalla [[fattoria]] e durante l'[[inverno]] tra le 6 am e le 4 pm. Il giocatore vedrà un corto nel quale un "ragazzo ombra" (che probabilmente è [[Krobus]])si spaventa e scappa via.
Dopo aver visto la scena, la quest [[Quests#A Winter Mystery|"A Winter Mystery"] viene aggiunta al diario del giocatore.
Le impronte del ragazzo ombra conducono ad un cespuglio vicino alla zona giochi, a sinistra del [[Community Center]]. Se giocatore interagisce con il cespuglio, il ragazzo ombra scappa fuori, si scusa per aver rubato, e da al giocatore un [[magnifying glass]], per poi correre via. Questo da al giocatore l'abilità di trovare dei messaggi segreti scavando, tagliando alberi, pescando, estraendo o uccidendo mostri.
Una volta trovato, un messaggio segreto può essere letto selezionandolo all'interno dell'inventario e cliccando con il tasto destro sul personaggio (come se fosse un cibo consumabile). Questo aggiungerà il messaggio alla collezione del giocatore, e attiverà la collezione dei messaggi segreti nella Tab sul menù del giocatore.
Alcuni messaggi conterranno la lista dei regali apprezzati da certi personaggi, mentre altri avranno immagini che rappresentano puzzle da risolvere. Leggere le note che elencano le preferenze sui regali, permetterà al giocatore di ritrovarle nel tab sociale sul menù del giocatore nel paragrafo sui regali agli abitanti del villaggio
I messaggi segreti possono essere regalati ma sono tutti [[amicizia#regali universalmente odiati]].
