'''Cindersap Forest''' is the area located south of [[the Farm]], and includes the [[Traveling Cart]], the [[Wizard's Tower]], the [[Abandoned House]], [[Leah's Cottage]], and [[Marnie's Ranch]]. It has exits to the north into the farm, the east into [[Pelican Town]], to the south into [[The Sewers]], and to the northwest into the [[Secret Woods]]. Cindersap Forest contains a large variety of [[Trees]]. These trees behave normally, yet do not need to be re-planted once they have been chopped down: a new Tree will reappear in its place as long as the stump is removed.
Each [[Spring]] you can find [[Spring Onion]] on the dirt spots of the southeast of the map, near the sewers.
At the start of the game, there are several twigs, rocks, and [[weeds]] in the upper part of the Forest. If cleaned up, the debris will reappear each Spring 1.

Located in the northeast corner of the map, this is where you can purchase animals and animal related goods. [[Marnie]] lives here with her niece and nephew, [[Jas]] and [[Shane]].

Located to the southwest of the pond, this run down building will open up shop when you start earning [[Achievements]]. Once open for business, a mouse will sell you [[hats]] based on the achievements you've unlocked.

Located on the western side of the map, the [[Wizard]] lives here. You can enter the tower once you have been in the Community Center for the first time, examined the letter in the Crafts Room, and received a letter from the Wizard.

The Secret Woods is the area adjacent to the northwest corner of the forest that is blocked by a [[Large Log]], which the player can chop up once the [[Axes|Steel Axe]] upgrade has been done. It is a natural habitat for a variety of [[Slimes]] and a good source of [[Hardwood]]. Note that there is a hidden section accessible by walking down through the trees that contains two more stumps, slimes, and potential foraging spots. All Hardwood stumps re-spawn every day.
The pond inside the woods is the only place where one can catch the [[Woodskip]], aside from the Forest Farm.
The player receives a [[Stardrop]] upon giving a [[Sweet Gem Berry]] to [[Old Master Cannoli]], whose statue is located on the northwest section of the woods.

==Trash Bear==

The Trash Bear is located at the bottom of Cindersap Forest, by the [[Spring Onion]] patch and the entrance to [[The Sewers]]. Trash Bear will appear on the first non-rainy day of year 3. Interacting with Trash Bear will show a dialog bubble of a random desired item. After giving Trash Bear the requested item, clicking on Trash Bear will reveal another request. Fulfilling four requests will trigger a cutscene in which Trash Bear plays pan-pipes, flies up on an umbrella made of leaves, and then cleans up the trash in the unreachable area near the water, replacing the trash with bushes and trees. Trash Bear continues flying on the umbrella to [[Pelican Town]], where the trash in [[Trailer|Pam's front yard]] is removed. [[Dog Pen|Dusty's dog pen]] also gets an upgrade.
